Squirrel and Crows like to hide peanuts in the same area

I started feeding the crows on my daily walk and they are such great birds. They seem to like Pecans and Peanuts, sometimes they like pretzel sticks and dried bananas. But today the crows weren't around and I ran into this little guy. Its pretty funny the squirrel ran around and hid all of the peanuts I gave him, but he hid them all in the same location as the crows. I wonder how often these guys find each others treasures?

I did notice the squirrel actually dig holes when hiding their food, the crows seem to just use some kind of grass or leaves to cover up their findings.
