The tech how-to dumping grounds

From time-to-time I actually work on systems and not just putting together Power Points or crazy wikis like this. I have notebooks, text docs, and other notes all over the place. Thats not sharing or helping anyone so I figured lets start dumping them here.

• My default Debian Linux - Just the steps I take after initial install of Debian
• My default programs - These are the programs I load 99% on every system I manage.
• Host your own git repos - How I let my hate for github being purchased by Microsoft take over my repository needs.
• CherryTree Notes App Sync - I wanted to sync my notes between my desktop and laptop. Git seemed like a good idea at the time.
• Remote Syslog Setup - Building out remote syslogging for my hobby project.
• Toying around with Rails - From time to time I start Ruby on Rails projects that NEVER go anywhere. This is a dumping ground for that process.
